The Buffalo Bills continue to add depth pieces to their defensive line.
After signing Austin Johnson just a few days ago, Buffalo is adding former Carolina panthers defensive tackle DeShawn Williams to the roster on a one-year deal.
Williams is coming off a season in which he had 33 tackles in 16 games for the Panthers.
Williams was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2015, before spending the next five seasons hopping around practice squads, or out of the league all together. He finally earned a 53-man roster spot with the Broncos in 2020, where he was picked up after working in an Amazon warehouse. He appeared in 14 games that season with 11 starts for Denver.
Williams spent three seasons with the Broncos before signing with the Panthers in 2023. He has a total of 66 games under his belt with 148 career tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.
