Cardinals confirm WR Chris Moore signing is a ‘done deal’

A fourth-round (107th overall) pick by the Baltimore Ravens, Moore has played in 106 games, accumulating 1,710 yards from 138 receptions and scoring eight touchdowns.

Throughout his eight-year NFL career, Moore played five seasons with Baltimore (2016-20), the Houston Texans (2021-22) and Tennessee Titans (2023).

As a result of them losing two contributing figures to their wide receiver depth, Arizona signing someone in that position was expected.

Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs signed Arizona’s now former No. 1 receiver Marquise Brown in free agency. The Cardinals also traded Rondale Moore to the Atlanta Falcons for quarterback Desmond Ridder.

Currently, the Cardinals’ wide receiver room includes Chris Moore, Zach Pascal, Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, Dan Chisena, Jeff Smith, Andre Baccellia, Kaden Davis and Daniel Arias.

By becoming a Cardinal, Moore gets to reunite with former Titans teammate Sean Murphy-Bunting, who also signed with the Cardinals this offseason. Arizona added offensive tackle Jonah Williams, running back DeeJay Dallas, linebacker Mack Wilson, defensive lineman Justin Jones, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols and defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga as well.

Not done there, Arizona will continue to look to bolster at wide receiver through the draft, trades, or free agency. Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is the projected player they will draft, if available.
